This book is an oversized (12 x 16) book of photographs of the work of Donatello.The book offers often two or even three angles of the sculpture being presented. 120 pages, including a glossary of words like baptistry, basilica, arcade, campanile... 140 photographs of the art, mostly in color. Excellent photography captures the details. Good scholarship, not too academic for the lay reader.The book explains the greatness of Donatello. Simply excellent.
